Workshops for Grades 1 through 3

The date is set, the campsite is reserved, the menu planned…..but what
will you do during the "free time". Kids can learn the basics of knife
safety, building a fire, go on a nature hike, pitch a tent, and more.
Tell me what your group already knows, and I'll take them to the next
step in their camping knowledge.

all about their body, from their brain, to their heart to
their muscles. What makes them work and how to keep them
healthy. Brownie Girl Scouts will complete the My Body Try-It

The best part of being a kid is the fun. Spend an afternoon playing
games, laughing and having fun together as a group. Play games that
will be new to you and your group; wiggle and jiggle sticks, moonball,
infinite circle and more.

Help kids stay safe and be safe with this fun and active program. Kids
will learn about smoke alarms, basics of first aid, dealing with
strangers, how and when to call for help and more. Brownie Girl Scouts
will complete the requirements for the Safety Sense Try-It.

Groups will try different activities that focus on each of the five
senses. Seeing, smelling, hearing, feeling and tasting will all be
explored through fun activities and games. This program will get your
kids giggling and thinking about their senses. Brownie Girl Scouts

Create and decorate your own Sundial. Examine star maps and identify
major constellations. Learn different stories from different cultures
about constellations. If weather permits, go outside for some real
star gazing!
